The American Motorcyclist Association has released the 2016 AMA/FIM North America Road Racing License Eligibility and MotoAmerica National Number Procedure documents. Licensing for 2016 is now available. To be eligible to retain your number you must apply by Jan 31st 2016. The procedures and documents are available via the American Motorcyclist Association’s website While it is each riders responsibility to read the entire regulation, the relevant changes are summarized below.

License Eligibility
Sect 5.viii For involuntary advancement in Superstock 600, the accrual of 300 points shall go back three years from the season the license is applicable for.
Section 6g For involuntary advancement in Superstock Limited, the accrual of 300 points shall go back three years from the season the license is applicable for.

National Number Procedure
Duplicate numbers across all classes will be avoided.

4. Riders must finish in the top 15 overall in their respective class, to earn a national number.
